EATING AND COOKING!!
Today was pretty much low key with the morning off from classes. In the afternoon there was language class with a field trip to a cafe (or bar as the Italians call it). There we practiced our italian ordering skills with our instructors. It was most useful, practical, and above all else, tasty.

That evening was a lot of fun, there was a cooking class with Sabrina, an instructor here at the Rome Center. She taught us how to make many authentic Roman dishes including covered pizza with spinach, two kinds of pasta, one with an eggplant sauce
and the other with faggiole, or white beans, and simple tarts for dessert. A lot of people got in on the cooking action, everyone ate a hearty meal, and Melis even helped out!
